On 07-Sep-07, the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) held their annual Global Information Industry Summit in Berlin, Germany. During the event, a panel discussion was held on the topic of Copyright 2.0 Rights Implications Generated Content. This session delved into the somewhat uncharted territory of copyright issues in a Web 2.0 enabled Internet. Experts from all sides of the equation shared their own experiences and opinions on this topic. If you wish to listen to a recording of the panel discussion, I suggest the following: - First, view this introduction by the Copyright Clearance Center
- Then check out Karen Christensen's article on the session. Karen was one of the audience participants in the podcast.
- Then review this slide deck while listening to the podcast.
A follow-up session is now scheduled for the upcoming O'Reilly Tools of Change for Publishing Conference .
